Registration Information
STUDENTS ENROLLING FOR 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR
Students residing within our boundaries, but currently attending private or Parochial schools, or schools outside of the Anaheim Union High School District.
We will be accepting applications beginning April 12th. Please bring the following information:
Please bring:
- current gas or electric bill showing parents' name and address
- student's birth certificate
- transcript of 7th and 8th or all report cards through 04/01/10. If your student is currently in high school we need a high school transcript as well
- California test scores or state test scores used by your current school
- immunization records (if you have just moved into Orange County, your student will need proof of a TB test within the last 90 days, or will need to have one before school begins
- CELDT test, or the student will need to take a 3-hour English fluency test if the student's home language is other than English
- most recent IEP if your student has been in special education
When we have all necessary materials, an appointment for you and your student will be made with a counselor.
If you are planning to request an open enrollment transfer for the purpose of entering our International Baccalaureate program, you will need to bring a transcript and copy of the California test scores to the registration office prior to requesting your application. At that time you will need to sign a letter of intent for your student to enter the program when he/she enters the 11th grade.
If you have not enrolled by the end of May, you will need to wait until after August 9, 2010.
Transfer Students – Students must be on track for graduation for enrollment at Kennedy High School and must live with their parents within our boundaries.

- unofficial transcript: 9th graders need 7th, 8th, , and 9th grade
10th – 12th graders need high school transcript
- California test scores or state test scores used by your current school

- most recent IEP if your student has been in special education
Parents: please come with your student because there is a packet of material to be signed. Your student will begin classes when everything has been approved and completed.
Special Education Students enrolled in special day classes:
Placement for special education students in self contained classes is determined by the District Office. After your initial visit to Kennedy's registration office, you will be notified as to your school placement and the process to follow.

Daily Sessions:
8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
IMPORTANT: School opens on August 30th for the first day of classes. This is a new starting time from previous years and it is very important that students be present on the first day of school. Students enrolling late or arriving past the August 30th starting date will be behind in classes, making it more difficult to catch up.
