ATHLETIC ELIGIBILITY
Kennedy High School is a member of the Empire League and competes under CIF Southern Section rules. Eligibility rules apply to all games including practice, inter-school scrimmage, league, tournament, and play-off games.
In order to compete in interscholastic athletics, a student must:
· Be under nineteen years of age by August 31 of the current school year
· Be academically eligible · Have met the residence requirements
· Meet citizenship requirements
· Not participate in any tryout for a professional or collegiate team
· Not compete or practice with outside teams during the season of sport
· Be an amateur · Complete a valid physical exam form
· Complete a parent consent card for treatment of injury
· Complete the Kennedy Athletic Code card signed by both the parent and the
student athleter
· Enroll in CIF Student Athletic Insurance Plan or have your parents complete the
declaration of insurance waiver form
