AVID Program

Welcome to Kennedy High School's AVID program.

These students are selected by teachers each spring to be in our AVID program.

The criteria for placement in this program is based on student interest and potential to go to college.

The goals of the AVID program are:

Prepare students to enter a 4-year college after high school graduation
Serve as a support group as students meet the challenges of high school
Visit colleges and universities to help students plan for their future
Give back to our community through community service
Fundraise for our club events
